Shelby's Four Weeks Old!

Wow, I forgot how fast time flies when you have a new born. I seriously can't believe our little girl is already four weeks old. Shelby is a wonderful little baby and I am greatly enjoying every minute of her life. This is the first baby that I have felt really relaxed with. I hold her all the time, nurse her whenever she needs, and she even sleeps with us. All things I NEVER did with the boys. No, I don't want to spoil her, but I think I have learned to just relax and enjoy, knowing that she will turn out just fine.

Shelby Lynn

Our little girl was born Oct 20th at 7:24 a.m. Everything went very smooth, such a blessing after our little scare when I had Cohen. Shelby is a sweet little baby, I love holding her and am in constant awe of how beautiful she is. The boys are adjusting quite well. They love holding her, "petting" her, and covering her in slobbery kisses. It's a good thing they are both healthy, so far anyway! I am recovering quickly and feeling great. Of course I'm a little tired, but I've learned to never skip a nap! We have had success at getting all three to nap at the same time. I wonder how long that will last?

The Many Colors of Baby Sisters Room and Big Boy Beds

I had such a hard time deciding on a paint color for little girls room. I have no interior decorating skills or interests, but really wanted her room to look cute. So, I ordered the bedding which I was immediately happy with. Then I picked two colors to paint, and talked my Dad into coming up to paint the room. Here is what I picked, don't know what I was thinking.

Two walls were this "pink"
and two walls were light blue.

After about a week I knew I was not going to be happy with this pink/blue combo so I talked Dewy into repainting a light green. Of course it took two coats to cover the bright pink. Here is the green.

The green with two samples of other greens
because I knew immediately I did not like the green.

Then after about a day of deciding green just wasn't going to work I decided on a nice neutral cream color. Here is the finished results.
I am very happy with the outcome!

The boys have been sharing a room. My Dad made Cohen a bed to match the one he made for Jackson. Both boys are so excited to be in their "Big Boy Beds". Of course they are up pretty much every night until 10:30 talking, fighting, playing, asking to to go the bathroom, opening and shutting the blinds, and crying. Bedtime can only get easier from here, I just hope it happens sooner then later. Dewy and I really miss our quiet relaxing evenings together.

Belly Pictures

I only just now had Dewy take some belly pictures. I remember taking pictures of my growing belly all through my first pregnancy and through most of my second pregnancy. I guess the third time around I got a little lazy. Anyway we will be having this baby Tuesday morning so I thought we better capture the belly before it's gone!!

Fun At The Fair!!

I was so excited to make it to the fair this year!! We had a great time looking at a few animals, eating yummy fair food, and going on some cool rides. It's so much fun to do these special things with the kids!

Cohen was a little nervous about the sheep.
Jackson did the same thing at that age, so cute.

Painted tattoo's!

Jackson loves getting his face painted.

Oh were they ever excited to drive the race car!!

Apple Cider at Papa's House

We made a quick trip over to my Dad's for a day of making cider. It was a cold wet day, but a lot of fun anyway! This was our first time making cider. The process is a lot of fun and the cider is so tasty!!

Cohen ate A LOT of apples that day!Jackson had fun jumping off Papa's dirt pile!!
