Jackson's 5th Birthday!!

Our oldest little one is 5!! Jackson is such a fun boy and we are so proud of him. He is attending Pre-K this year, his first year in school. He greatly enjoys it and has learned how to write his name with lower case letters. I'm so happy he has a Jesus believing and loving teacher.
Jackson just recently stopped taking naps. Can you believe that? 5 years of consistent napping!! I'm teaching him how to read from a great book "Teach Your Child To Read In 100 Easy Lessons". He is progressing quite well! Jackson has an early passion and curiosity for the Bible and has started memorizing scripture. We are currently working on Psalms 23, he is remembering it better than I am!
His favortie thing to say right now is "oh nuts". His favorite thing to do is Friday night movie night. We rent a fun movie, eat popcorn, and have a sweet treat. Here are some fun pictures of Jackson's birthday party. He wanted a race car birthday, it was a pretty fun time!

Pre-K Christmas Program

Jackson's school put on a Christmas Program. This was the first time he has ever done anything like this and we all greatly enjoyed seeing him up on stage and hearing his cute little voice in the microphone. His class sang a couple of songs and then they each got to say their name and wish the crowd a Merry Christmas. So cute!!

Not to sure about the antlers!

Halloween 2010

This Halloween the boys were very in to Superheros. They both choose a Spider man costume while Shelby wore the pumpkin costume that both the boys wore when they were one year old. We had a great time walking around the neighborhood with our coul-de-sac friends.

Total cuteness!!

By the time we got around to carving pumpkins
Halloween was already over.
Still fun though.

A funny pic!

We love our coul-de-sac friends!

Pumpkin Patch 2010

Just saw these cute pictures and didn't want to leave out the pumpkin patch! Jackson's preschool organized a parent led field trip to a local pumpkin patch. Best part was Dewy was able to stay home from work that morning to join us. We got to listen to a story, see some cute farm animals, pick out a pumpkin and sip some hot cider. Love the pumpkin patch!!

Thanksgiving 2010

Very behind. That's the story of my life right now! I am determined to get a few of the big important memories documented so bear with me while I play catch up. Definitely can't leave out Thanksgiving. We were blessed by Dewy's parents with airplane tickets to AZ so we could spend a week with them celebrating Thanksgiving. It was a GREAT trip and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. Some highlights were riding horses, seeing GG (Great-Grandma), visiting with cousins, and going to the ASU football game. Unfortunately we were terrible picture takers this trip, but here are a few good ones to show you all the fun we had.

Shelby's First Birthday!

Our little girl turned one!! I can't even begin to tell you how much joy our sweet little Shelby brings to our lives. She still thinks her brothers are the best, loves seeing her Daddy walk in the door, and her smile melts my heart. She say's Mama, Da-Da, and uh-oh. She signs "sleep", "thank you", and "hurt". She can point to her foot and is learning to wrinkle her nose. Mama loves her kisses and hugs. Two weeks after her birthday she started walking. Still prefers to crawl, but she can put a good three-four steps together. On the day of her birthday we had the neighbor kids over for cupcakes. Shelby really had no idea what was going on, but it was still fun to see all the kids doting over the Birthday Girl!

Cohen Turns Three!!

Calling all Super Hero's!! This year Cohen requested a Super Hero Birthday Party. All the kids dressed up in their favorite Super Hero costume. Cohen chose Superman, Jackson picked Spider Man, and everyone else was Batman! We eat sandwiches, wings, veggies, and yummy cake and ice cream. We were so thankful to have Papa and so many of our friends here to help celebrate our sweet little Cohen.
