San Diego!!

Dewy and I had some friends getting married in San Diego. The minute we received the invite we decided to go, and make it our first trip away, just the two of us. We booked our plane tickets and hotel reservations as soon as we had conformation from my Dad and his wife that they could come and watch the boys. It was such a blessing to be able to leave the boys at our house where I knew they would be happy and comfortable. Dewy helped me pick out a maternity dress and a few new outfits, he encouraged me to go get a pedicure, and helped me make a list of things that had to be done before we left. I am seriously married to the most perfect man for me! He wanted to make sure I was excited (the new clothes, and pedicure) and comfortable about this trip (the list of things that needed to be done). We had such a wonderful time!! I REALLY like San Diego and can't wait to go back, maybe next time with the kids so we can go to the Zoo and Sea World!

Boarding the plane!

As soon as we arrived and got settled
we headed to the beach. It was a beautiful day
and such a fun spot to people watch!!

Ocean Beach Pier

No swimming or surfing for me, THANK YOU!!

Enjoying one last relaxing coffee!

When we got back we went out for Papa's favorite,
Cold Stone Creamery!

Delicious!!

While we were gone Dad not only took care of our two energetic children,
but he built us this wonderful picnic table for the boys. I LOVE IT!!

Horrible Blogger

Oh my, I can't believe it's been a month since my last post. It's been hard finding the time to document all of our wonderful memories. The weather here in WA has been unusually beautiful so we have been outside as much as possible. It does not get dark until around 9:30 so both boys are staying up later, which means by the time they are finally asleep I'm ready for bed. Anyway, enough with the excuses! This post will get us caught up with everything that happened from May-June.

I can't get a picture of Jackson
without him making a funny face!

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
On our way to go hiking we ran into snow.
It ended up being a great day anyway!!

Jackson still talks about how we couldn't get up
the hill because of the snow. He even told Dewy
that we need a monster truck, then we could get up the hill :)

The snowy mountain in the background
is the one we were supposed to hike.

Two tired boys!

Dewy got a new grill.
We pulled it out to the coul de sac
and grilled with all the neighbors, SO FUN!!

We explored Discovery Park, the park
Daddy used to play at when he was a little boy.

The boys loved the big swing
