Christmas 2008!!

This year we spent Christmas with the Steele side of the family. My older brother Joel and his wife Christy hosted at their house. We were able to spend the whole week at my brothers house and we had a wonderful time. My dad made it over for a few days and so did my little brother Jesse and his wife Summer. The whole State of WA must've bombarded with snow because we saw nothing but white as we headed over the hill (Snoqualmie Pass) and through the woods to "Uncle Joel's" house in SE Washington. We were very thankful for safe travel. Grandma Deb was the only one not able to make it, we missed you Grandma Deb.

Jesse and Summer

One of the highlights of the visit was finding out the gender of Jesse and
Summers baby by watching the ultra sound video.
It's a boy!!!

My brothers, love you guys.

All that fun can wear ya out!

Every year my family celebrates Christmas on Christmas Eve. We spent the day sledding, eating a wonderful dinner, opening presents, and playing games. It was so much fun!! Stay tuned for more on sledding, opening presents, and making "special treats."

Jackson's Third Birthday!!

Our first born turned three on December 13th. Unbelievable how fast he is growing up! We celebrated by going to the park, watching a movie while eating popcorn with m&m's, eating a taco dinner with our friends Holly, Herbie, and Kaden, making ice cream, gobbling up cupcakes, and opening a few presents. I couldn't stop smiling when we put Jackson to bed that night and he said "dat was a weally fun day!"

We started the day off with a present!

This was the first year Jackson was REALLY into the presents, it was so fun to hear him squeal and to see the excitement on his face!

Cupcakes :)

It wouldn't be a Birthday Party if Daddy didn't eat a whole cupcake in one bite!

Cohen trying to roll the ice cream ball.

Herbie trying to scoop the ice cream which was frozen SOLID.

My dear friend Holly and her little "cutie pie" Kaden.

Our Little Christmas Tree!

This year Dewy and Jackson were in charge of picking out the perfect Christmas tree for our little apartment. Just the two of them went out one evening to the local Christmas tree lot where they found our little tree. All Jackson could talk about was the candy cane he got. What a yummy special treat!! I must say, I think they did a wonderful job!

Posing with the tree.

Cohen tried so hard to get the balls on the tree!
