On September 17th our little Cohen turned two years old. We had some friends over to the house for dinner, cake, and presents. Dewy grilled up hamburgers and hot dogs and we all enjoyed an oreo cookie ice cream cake! All the kids had a wonderful time and Cohen seems to have a blast. He LOVED the cake and liked opening the presents!

Very excited about his new bike!!
"Faunt woader"
I am the wife to the most perfect man for me, Dewy, and mother of three incredible children: Shelby, Cohen and Jackson. Almost daily one of my kids will do something that either amazes me, makes me laugh, or makes me cry. I worry everyday that I will forget these precious memories. So, I am starting this blog to ensure our memories are shared with our family and friends and not forgotten.

Grandma and Grandpa visit, Summer of 09
Yea, we were so excited to have Dewy's parents make their first trip up North for a visit!! Even though they brought a little of that AZ heat with them, we still had a wonderful time. Maxing out at 104 degree's one day, it was a little too hot for comfort for this pregnant mama! The boys had a BLAST and loved all the attention they received from their loving grandparents.
We visited the space needle
Dewy and Cohen at the top
Spent some time at the bay
Daddy tried to build a sand castle!
And of course went to the park!
We spent one evening at the mall, which was much cooler then our non-air conditioned home. We visited Pike Place Market where we got a salmon, squeeky cheese, and the best peaches ever! We also ate out at one of our family favorites, the Spaghetti Factory.
Fun times, we look forward to their next visit!

Montana With The Norris Family, Summer 09
We have had a wonderful summer! For sure one of the major highlights so far was our trip to Montana. Our good friends Patrick and Coralee invited us to spend a week in Montana with them and their family. Neither of us had spent much time in Montana and were missing our dear friends so we jumped at the opportunity. Forgive me for not writing more details, I think the pictures will show what a wonderful time we had.
pit for the boys to play in.
This is little Connor, too cute!
Neither of our boys were big fans, but it was still a lot of fun.
Other highlights not pictured:
Dewy went fly fishing for the first time
The boys played in the pool and slip-n-slide
We ate tasty pizza at MacKenzie River Pizza Company
And many, many, more!

Meeting Baby Fenley!
So, as usual I'm a bit behind in updating the blog. This post dates clear back to the end of June when my little brother Jesse and his wife Summer came to visit and introduce their new little baby Fenley. We were so excited to meet little Fenley in person and to spend some time with Jess and Sum. My lovely sister in-law Christy also came with my nieces and nephew, unfortunately Joel couldn't make it. Dewy and Christy ran the Seattle Rock-N-Roll half marathon and both finished with a personal best time! We enjoyed playing with the kids and eating good food.
Uncle Dewy and Little Fenley, not so happy!

San Diego!!
Dewy and I had some friends getting married in San Diego. The minute we received the invite we decided to go, and make it our first trip away, just the two of us. We booked our plane tickets and hotel reservations as soon as we had conformation from my Dad and his wife that they could come and watch the boys. It was such a blessing to be able to leave the boys at our house where I knew they would be happy and comfortable. Dewy helped me pick out a maternity dress and a few new outfits, he encouraged me to go get a pedicure, and helped me make a list of things that had to be done before we left. I am seriously married to the most perfect man for me! He wanted to make sure I was excited (the new clothes, and pedicure) and comfortable about this trip (the list of things that needed to be done). We had such a wonderful time!! I REALLY like San Diego and can't wait to go back, maybe next time with the kids so we can go to the Zoo and Sea World!
As soon as we arrived and got settled
we headed to the beach. It was a beautiful day
and such a fun spot to people watch!!

Horrible Blogger
Oh my, I can't believe it's been a month since my last post. It's been hard finding the time to document all of our wonderful memories. The weather here in WA has been unusually beautiful so we have been outside as much as possible. It does not get dark until around 9:30 so both boys are staying up later, which means by the time they are finally asleep I'm ready for bed. Anyway, enough with the excuses! This post will get us caught up with everything that happened from May-June.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
On our way to go hiking we ran into snow.
It ended up being a great day anyway!!
the hill because of the snow. He even told Dewy
that we need a monster truck, then we could get up the hill :)

We pulled it out to the coul de sac
and grilled with all the neighbors, SO FUN!!
